Mother of Pearl

Mother of Pearl has seen a large resurgence in recent times, with many interesting shapes and pendants on the market - we really like this stuff because it has a nice sheen to it with interesting and varied colour and texture effects dependent on its original home area and the way it has been cut by the beadmakers - protect your mother of pearl from perfumes and such like, as it can take away the sheen, and always put it away carefully after wiping with a soft cloth. Just about perfect with any colour - from the palest freshwater pearls to the darkest Black Onyx, and all the colours in-between.
